About Brianna
Hi! I’m Brianna, and I’m passionate about supporting individuals across the lifespan as they navigate life’s changes, challenges, and growth moments. I work with children, adults, and older adults experiencing anxiety, depression, and life transitions. With children, I create a supportive and engaging space where big feelings can be explored safely and confidently. I enjoy helping kids build emotional awareness, coping skills, and resilience in a way that feels empowering and age-appropriate, especially for those adjusting to major changes such as moves, school transitions, or the unique stressors that can come with military family life. (And yes, we can absolutely use games, art, or a little creativity along the way.) I also enjoy working with adults navigating life transitions, including career changes, relationship shifts, relocation, and identity growth. I have a special interest in supporting military service members and spouses as they adjust to deployments, reintegration, and the evolving demands of military life. In addition, I value working with older adults and honoring the wisdom and life experiences they bring into the therapeutic space. I enjoy supporting conversations around adjustment, grief, and reflection. My approach is warm, collaborative, and strengths-based. I strive to create a space where clients of all ages feel heard, supported, and empowered as they move toward growth and healing.
Philosophy of Care
What I love most about child and family therapy is that it allows me to support healing at its roots. I enjoy working with children because it gives us the opportunity to intervene early, build healthy coping skills, and support emotional regulation in ways that can have a positive impact on their life trajectory.
I also enjoy watching a child gain confidence in expressing their thoughts and feelings, or seeing a caregiver feel more equipped to handle whatever life brings. Being part of that growth and empowerment is incredibly rewarding.
Happiness is…
your first sip of coffee in the morning.
Fun Fact
If I hadn’t majored in Social Work, I probably would have chosen History and become a history teacher.
At Home
I enjoy walking along the beach or cooking recipes from cookbooks and pretending I am on a cooking show.
Words of Wisdom
Change doesn’t usually happen in big leaps; it can also come quietly in the little choices you make every day. Some days it will feel like you’re moving forward, and other days it may feel like you’re standing still, and that’s part of the process. Give yourself grace and celebrate the small wins.
