Philosophy of Care
I have always loved taking a lifespan developmental approach with my clients, and this was my area of study in my doctoral program. Understanding the etiology and the trajectory of presenting problems is so interesting to me, and being able to intervene and change a likely trajectory is so rewarding. I am a parent to two small children adopted from foster care, and I feel passionately about serving children who need support and who have Medicaid (as my own children do).
