Biography

As a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), I provide compassionate, evidence-based mental health care for children, adolescents, and adults. I specialize in psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and individualized treatment planning, with a strong focus on medication management and collaborative care.I began my career in entry-level nursing and advanced through diverse clinical roles, which has given me a strong, well-rounded foundation in patient care and interdisciplinary collaboration. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Maryland and my Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University, and I am committed to ongoing professional growth and clinical excellence. My approach to care is grounded in empathy, clear communication, and partnership. I believe effective treatment begins with listening and understanding each patient’s unique experiences and goals. I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where patients feel heard, respected, and empowered in their care decisions.I have extensive experience treating a wide range of psychiatric conditions, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, and trauma-related disorders. My focus is on improving emotional stability, daily functioning, and overall quality of life through personalized, evidence-based treatment plans.Outside of clinical practice, I value family, balance, and personal well-being, which support my ability to provide thoughtful and compassionate care to every patient I serve.
